March 2010, Vol. 2

Teacher with students at computer Dear Teachers,

Don't let your study of history focus primarily on the accomplishments of men; remind students that women have also achieved great things throughout American history. Take advantage of Women's History Month (March) to approach this topic.

The health of our nation's children is an important topic, and we all know that a lack of adequate nutrition is a real problem. Use our activities and lessons to teach students about how they can make healthy meal choices and inform them about the vitamins and minerals found in food.

Though much of the school year has already passed, it is never too late to learn new teaching methods to improve your success as a teacher.

Best Wishes,
The Editors of TeacherVision.com
